What Seguros Andorra is and what it is not
It is an information guide about insurance in Andorra. It is not an insurance company, nor an intermediary registered with the AFA. That is why it does not sell insurance, prepare offers, give prices or provide binding advice.
Each guide summarises official rules and data and links to its source. That summary does not replace the Official Gazette of the Principality of Andorra (Butlletí Oficial del Principat d'Andorra, BOPA), which prevails if there are differences, nor the conditions of your policy. Before deciding, check the law in force or ask an authorised professional.
Supervision of the sector
Insurance activity in Andorra is regulated by Law 12/2017. Insurers and intermediaries are supervised by the Andorran Financial Authority (Autoritat Financera Andorrana, AFA), which publishes its registers on afa.ad.
Advertising
The website is funded by fixed advertising spaces, kept apart from the text and labelled “Sponsored”. No advertiser reviews or changes the guides. The full rules are on the pages advertise with us and how we work, both in Spanish.
What you send through the form is stored in a database on the website's own server and read from a password-protected panel. It is not forwarded by email. We only send your question to the AFA-authorised insurer or intermediary that you choose, and only if you tick the box. The details are in our privacy policy.
Intellectual property
The texts and design of the website are the work of Uriel Iglesias. The photos come from Wikimedia Commons and Unsplash, and all of them are cropped for this site. Commons photos are used with attribution, as their licences require; the Unsplash licence does not ask for it, but we credit them anyway. The list is built from the photos that appear on the site today:
